Costume Designer // Mirena Rada

Mirena Rada is a versatile costume designer with extensive experience ranging from Broadway/Off-Broadway theatre, theme resort spectaculars, dance, circus, special events, film, and uniform design. Mirena is also an accomplished illustrator with many years of teaching experience in her field. 

Mirena's goal is to continue feeding her insatiable hunger for new skills, unconventional perspectives, inspiration and pushing the aesthetic envelope in the costume design arena.

Specialties

Designing and working with inflatables, puppets, acrobatics, flying harnesses, special effects, unusual materials, sculpted foam, costume electrification, stilts, etc. Traditional as well as computer illustration skills working with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Painter.
