Directors // Mark S. Hoebee

Mark S. Hoebee is the Producing Artistic Director for Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey.  On Broadway, Mark directed the Actors Fund Benefit concert of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas which starred Emily Skinner, Terrence Mann and Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson.  He has directed National Tours of Victor/Victoria starring Grammy winner Toni Tennille, Almost Like Being in Love: An Evening of Lerner and Lowe starring Diahann Carroll, Dreamgirls starring Frenchie Davis and Company.  Among his directing credits at Paper Mill are Hello Dolly! starring Tovah Feldshuh, Harold and Maude: The Musical with Estelle Parsons, Smokey Joe’s Café, The Will Rogers Follies, Meet Me In St. Louis, The King & I, Miss Saigon, Romance, Romance, Disney High School Musical and The Full Monty starring Broadway legend Elaine Stritch. Mark has performed in more than ten Broadway and National tour productions and served as an Adjunct Professor in the Dance and Theatre Department at Northwestern University.
