Recent productions include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Anything Goes and Cabaret at the Ordway, On the Town at Papermill Playhouse and the 5th Avenue Theatre, Candide at the 5th Avenue, and The Full Monty at the Village Theatre. Broadway credits include Those Were the Days at the Edison and Gypsy Passion at the Plymouth. Off-Broadway credits include designs for the Public Theatre, Blue Light, Circle Rep, Circle in the Square, Irish Arts, Lucille Lortel, and La Mama ETC. Dance credits include Alvin Ailey American Ballet and Ballet Hispanico. Regional credits include the Huntington Theatre, Papermill Playhouse, Alliance Theatre, Pittsburgh Public, Goodspeed Playhouse, Cincinnati Playhouse, AMTSJ, Studio Arena Buffalo, and the Walnut Street in Philadephia. Opera designs  include Spoleto Festival and Boston Lyric. National Tours La Cage aux Folles, Dreamgirls, Miss Saigon, Go Diego Go, and Dora the Explorer. Mr. Sturge currently lives in the Seattle area with his wife Istara and son Dylan.
