Marcia Milgrom Dodge is a Tony & Drama Desk & Astaire Award nominated director & choreographer for her stirring & lovingly staged Broadway/Kennedy Center revival of Ragtime (also a Helen Hayes Award winner for Outstanding Director.)  MMD is the American Show Director for Tokyo Disneyland’s 40th Anniversary Parade “Harmony In Color” currently running in Japan. For Television, Dodge appears as herself in Disney+ Encore! (Episode 1: Annie & Episode 12 Ragtime); choreographed The Muppets in an Emmy-winning episode of Sesame Street-The Tango Festival and Elmo’s Wild West video. Some of MMD’s bold new approaches to classic plays & musicals include Disney’s Beauty & The Beast & Once The Musical (Olney Theatre Center), Evita (Drury Lane & Riverside Theatres); Meet Me In St. Louis & Disney’s The Little Mermaid (The Muny); Hello Dolly!*, Fiddler On The Roof and The King & I* (Maltz Jupiter Theatre, all with new choreography, *Carbonell Awards for Best Direction of a Musical); The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time (St. Louis Rep & Cincinnati Playhouse); The Secret Garden (Cincinnati Playhouse & Center Stage); Smokey Joe’s Cafe (The Muny & Drury Lane/Jeff Award for Best Revival.)  Exciting Premieres include Maltby & Shire’s Closer Than Ever (Off-Bway), William Finn’s Romance in Hard Times (Public Theater), Sense & Sensibility, The Musical (Denver Center), Empire (La Mirada) and Sherlock Holmes & The West End Horror (co-written with husband Anthony Dodge/Bay Street Theatre/Edgar Award nomination for Best Mystery Play.)
